No passengers will be allowed on the coaches without a ticket. Tickets cannot be transferred and can only be used for the journey indicated. Passengers will therefore require new tickets if they chose to deviate from the destination intended on the ticket they hold.

The ticket is proof of the agreement of transport between Big Tree Coaches, the purchaser of the ticket and the passenger. The accompanying terms and conditions are the entire agreement between the passenger and Big Tree Coaches.

Passengers may request to cancel their tickets before scheduled departure. Passengers who cancel their trips 72 hours before scheduled departure will be entitled to their full price paid for the ticket, less 20% cancellation fees. Passengers who cancel their trips less than 72 hours before departure will not be entitled to a refund but a voucher valid for 2 months, such a voucher being worth 50% of the original ticket value. Passengers will bear any additional price changes that may occur between the cancellation and the rebooking periods. Passengers who cancel their trips 12 hours before scheduled departure will pay a 100% cancellation fee.

Passengers may request to rebook their travel data and time before scheduled departure. Passengers who rebook their trips 72 hours before scheduled departure will be required to pay a 20% cancellation fees. Passengers who cancel their trips less than 72 hours before departure will be required to pay 50% rebooking fees while those who rebook 12 hours before scheduled travel time will be required to pay a 100% rebooking fee.

All passengers must have their tickets prior to boarding. Passengers with lost tickets who arrive for check-in time 30 minutes before departure may not be allowed to board. Passengers with lost tickets must make arrangements prior to boarding and unless they are able to provide sufficient information to all online tracking of their tickets, they may not be allowed to board.

All children under 12 years of age will be allowed to travel on our buses without the company and guidance of an adult (a person over 18 years). Children above 12 years old and below 18 may travel unaccompanied provided that Big Tree Buses will not be held liable for any injury, damage or loss suffered by the minor and that a valid indemnity be provided by the legal guardian or parent in respect of each unaccompanied child. Please enquire with the consultant or agent upon purchase of the ticket.

Big Tree Coaches does not provide general insurance cover for its passengers, their property or luggage. It is the responsibility of the passenger to ensure that he/she is adequately insured.
